Purpose of the job
The Senior Maintenance Planner enables the maintenance teams to deliver the ‘Right Maintenance, the Right Way, at the Right Time, ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective planning principles and practice to meet production targets and support the Work management process, by:

Scope and plan maintenance work

Coordinate the execution of activities

Close out feedback and documentation

Review the execution of the work management process

Maintain master data
•
Ensure Occupational Health and safety
The responsibilities abovementioned shall be conducted in compliance with the requirements of the South African National Standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act No.85 of 1993

Experience
•
5 years’ experience working in maintenance planning, reliability engineering, asset care or SAP data analyst role.
•
At least 3 years in a manufacturing industry, preferably chemical process plants.
•
In-depth knowledge of SAP PM maintenance management systems.
•
Experience in planning, scheduling and reporting on preventative, corrective and asset care plans.
•
Knowledgeable on the OHS Act and statutory maintenance requirements.
•
Capable of influencing different departments regarding engineering support of day-to-day tasks.
Qualifications:
•
Matric
•
National Diploma in Engineering (Advantage).
•
SAP PM
•
Diploma or certification in asset and maintenance management (Advantage).
Reporting structure:
This position reports to the Asset Care Manager
Personal Circumstances:
•
Must be able to obtain a satisfactory medical report from the companies’ medical centre.
