Purpose of the job
The position is responsible for Loading of Bulk Road tankers, and filling of drums and flow bins with different
products as per customer’s request in correct quantities, receiving different products from various plants and
store accordingly and then dispatch/load to ensure that orders are timeously and correctly executed, resulting
in the safe provision of an excellent service to both internal and external customers.
The responsibilities abovementioned shall be conducted in compliance with the requirements of the South
African National Standard (SANS 10142 Part 1 and Part 2) and the Occupational Health and Safety Act No.85
of 1993. The responsibilities above mentioned shall include ensuring equipment is visibly marked for
identification, working drawings (Single Line Diagrams and Electrical Schematics) are always updated and
electrical installation(s) is legally compliant.
This position profile acts as a guide to the role only, and additional work outcomes may be required to be
performed by the incumbent.

- Loading and offloading of bulk road tankers, filling drums and flow bins with different products as per
 customer’s request in correct quantities and correct quality.
- Responsible for safe and efficient operation of equipment.
- Ensure that orders are timeously and correctly executed.
- Safe provision of an excellent service to both internal and external customers.
- Offloading/loading of Chlorine tankers.
- Adherence to all SHERQ principles.
- Ensure all relevant checklists are completed.
- Do daily stock taking.

Experience
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.
 Qualifications:
- Matric
- Relevant qualification that is related to the position (Added advantage)
 Reporting structure:
- This position reports to the Logistics Shift Supervisor.
 Personal Circumstances:
- Must be able to obtain a satisfactory medical report from the companies’ medical centre.
- Will be required to work shifts.
