 Purpose of the job 

To train and produce quality artisans (non-permanent) through the integration of knowledge, practical and workplace learning components and growing a pool of qualified artisans for the business sustenance and the labour market. 

Key performance area 

  • • Attend theoretical and practical learning components at the training centre. 
  • • Perform summative assessments. 
  • • Complete logbooks. 
  • • Carry out all occupational related work experience activities at NCP.

Knowledge /Skills and Competencies 

  • • Computer Literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) 
  • • Good Interpersonal Skills 
  • • Attention to detail. 
  • • Planning and organising skills. 
  • • Good verbal written communication skills 

Experience 

  • • No experience is required. 

Qualifications (minimum requirements)

  • • Grade 12/N3 with Maths & Physical/Engineering Science – PLUS trade related theory subject. 
  • • Must have completed the trade-specific institutional training at the training centre or college (requiring workplace training only). 

Personal Circumstances: 

  • • Must be able to obtain a satisfactory medical report from the companies’ medical centre.
