The appearance of this product is a clear dark green/brown aqueous solution.
Properties & Applications
Ferrous chloride is used primarily in phosphate precipitation with applications I heavy metal removal, industrial effluent treatment and as a filter aid and in the reduction of chrome (VI).
Chemical handling and dosing requirements are as for ferric chloride.
Ferrous chloride also exhibits an optimum pH band. This should be determined in the laboratory.
